Gas & Carbon Monoxide Detectors

In the US alone, there are over 400 deaths a year and 14,000 hospitalizations from unintentional carbon monoxide poisoning. You can drastically reduce the occurrence of this in your home or business by installing CO detectors on your alarm system. These are usually placed in areas of a building where CO might begin to build up, and usually outside of bedrooms. If you use a combustible gas, then you can also protect yourself from leaks by installing a combustible gas detector near holding tanks or lines. Gas and CO detectors can also be used along with central station monitoring, as they are life safety devices, to call in help automatically if there's an emergency.

The first detector in our lineup is the Macurco GD2A combustible gas detector. Following that, we have the Macurco CM-E1 Carbon Monoxide detector. In addition, we have 2 System Sensor CO detectors offering 2 different aesthetic styles. The System Sensor CO1224T detector offers a standard rectangular look, while the System Sensor CO1224TR provides a circular style. 

Listed along with the standard single-function detectors offered here, we also have the COSMO combination CO and smoke detectors and their required modules. The COSMO sensors and COSMOD module are used together to create chains of both smoke and CO protection throughout a home.
