A new variation on the BAT series of communicators, the Alula BAT-Mini offers dual SIM and WiFi connectivity. With both an AT&T and Verizon SIM card built into the unit, you'll be able to get the best cellular signal possible regardless of your area. In addition, this unit utilizes LTE-M cellular technology meaning this communicator will be 5G ready when the time comes for 4G LTE to be discontinued. As a secondary IP communication pathway, you can connect the BAT-Mini to your Wifi providing redundancy in the event cellular signal is dropped. If you would prefer a hardwired ethernet connection to your communicator you will need to use the Alula BAT-Connect. The BAT-Mini works best with Honeywell Vista Panels, Interlogix NX panels, and DSC PowerSeries Panels, however, it is a universal communicator capable of being used to some extent with any system that supports phone line monitoring. 

The BAT-Mini also offers multiple panel connection options as well. Use the compatibility list below to see what options are available for your panel. The best connection option is to use a Keybus connection to fully integrate the Alula BAT-Mini with your panel. This allows compatible panels to be armed and disarmed using a direct data connection to your panel. If the panel you have is not compatible with keybus connections to the BAT-Mini however, you can connect the device to the phone line terminals of your panel so the BAT-Mini can read them. For an alternative method of arming and disarming, the BAT-Mini can utilize key switch arming as long as your alarm system supports key switches. This is a more rudimentary means of arming and disarming, but it gives you a limited interactive feature for your setup. 

To use the BAT-Mini, you will need the Alula Dual-Path Interactive Service since this unit uses both cellular and IP data connections. This can be paired with Central Station Alarm Monitoring service to send your alarm signals to a monitoring station.
