Does this unit need to be replaced every 7-10 years or just the CO-REPL?
You can just replace the co module to further extend the unit life. See here:

When using with a Vista system is it possible to program a delay to a smoke alarm going off? As if to turn it off when you accidentally set it off with a kitchen mishap. (There’s no fire, and I don’t want to immediately have the FD called)
There is a zone type called fire verification which requires smokes to be triggered twice within a set time limit before the alarm is triggered. You'll need access to the programming to edit this.

Can I use this relay with a Honeywell VISTA-20P Ademco Control Panel, PCB in Aluminum Enclosure?
Yes, the COSMOD works well with Honeywell, but you will need a relay on the Honeywell to power the COSMOD such as the ones on the 4229 expander and the 4204 relay board.

Most all modern alarm system now support this 2 wire type smoke detector. A two-wire smoke sends the power and zone circuit down the same two wires. System Sensor 2WTA-B Two Wire Smoke Detector With Built-In Heat Sensor The System Sensor 2WTA-B is a two wire smoke detector that features a built-in 135 degree heat detector as well as an on-board sounder. The sounder provides an 85 dB warning tone to let those in the area know a fire emergency is occurring. The heat detector in this unit will trip if the temperature reaches 135 degrees.
