System Sensor CO-REPL 

The CO-REPL is a replacement CO cell module for the COSMO smoke and CO combo units. On the underside of the detectors are removable CO cells that wear out sooner than the smoke detector itself. The COSMOD module used with these combo units can alert you if the CO cell is at its end of life, so when that happens you can use this replacement cell module. 

We order these modules weekly or bi-weekly to get the freshest date codes available from the manufacturer.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • How often should I replace these units CO-REPL ? My smokes were going off and I didn't know how to shut them off.

    Generally, those CO cells last about around 10 years. The COSMO sensors prompt a trouble if its near its end of life. They include a "replace by" date so you can check if that is the issue with your units. 

  • Can a cosmos-w2 smoke/carbon can be connected straight to the control panel without the need of the cosmos module?

    No, the COSMOD module is required when using COSMO sensors.
