The DSC Impassa Self-contained Wireless Alarm System is DSC's newest offering and is actually the new and improved version of DSC's old 9047 model. Just like DSC's 9047; the Impassa is in all-in-one unit, but that's pretty much where the comparison ends! The Impassa Wireless system is essentially the mating of the 9047 and DSC's Alexor system. It gives you the self-contained feature of the 9047, but also gives you the bi-directional functionality of the Alexor system. You can use all of the accessories with the Impassa that you can use with the Alexor including the Alexor's add-on wireless keypads; the WT5500.

You can also use any of the other bi-directional devices such as the WT4911B Wireless Outdoor Siren, DSC-WT4901 2-Way Wireless Indoor Siren, DSC-WT4989 Wireless 2-Way Key Fob, etc. DSC just keeps making them better every time!! Some of the features of the Impassa include: Built-in 2-way audio VOX and push to- talk alarm communication via phone line and cellular 2-way wireless support:

• 1 keypad

• 2 sirens

• 16 wireless keys Supports 32 wireless zones and 16 wireless keys (without using a zone slot)

Real time clock update using cellular module Easy wireless device enrollment process Template programming Full 32-character programmable labels 5 programmable function keys Individual FAP keys 17 user access codes 500 event buffer False alarm reduction features (CP-01) Enlarged keypad buttons Outdoor temperature display If you're looking for a great security system that won't break the bank, then the DSC Impassa Self-contained Wireless Alarm System is the choice for you.
