The IQ Panel 2 Plus is a wireless alarm system produced by Qolsys (Quality Of Life Systems). The panels can handle up to 128 security zones, 119 total Z-Wave devices (Up to 80 lights, up to 6 locks, up to 6 thermostats, up to 6 garage doors, up to 21 misc), and can accommodate up to 242 user codes. The panel also can accommodate 2 simple, non-powered, closed loop hardwired zones. It also has 1 open collector output that can be used for a low-current draw hardwired siren. 

These panels are built on the Android operating system and feature the newest in security technology. It has the Qualcomm SnapDragon chipset which is used in most of today's electronics. It also has 8GBs of NAND Flash memory and a slot for a Micro SD card. The panel also comes stock with an LTE cellular radio, DualBand WIFI card, Encrypted Security RF radio, Z-Wave plus card, Image sensor, and on-board Bluetooth 4.0. This particular panel can utilize the PowerG wireless devices and the Legacy 433 MHz. That means that it can use older generation DSC Power Series wireless devices as well.

The IQ Panel 2 Plus has a high-definition 7" screen that features a 1280x800 resolution and operates through swiping of the screen and gestures making it smooth to use and comparable to operating a modern day tablet computer. It is icon menu-driven which makes daily operation easy for home owners. The content is dynamic and only sensors that are learned into the system will be shown on the screen. This also has a 5 MP fixed-focus camera and features a stereo microphone and speakers. The piezo siren that is included in the IQ 2 Plus has an 85 decibel rating.

The IQ Panel 2 uses Alarm.com for signal forwarding to a central station monitoring service or can be used for Alarm.com Residential Interactive services as well.
