The IQ Remote is an add-on touchscreen keypad that can be paired with the IQ Panel 2 and Panel 2 Plus. The IQ Remote measures in at 4.25"H x 7.5"W x .33"D and features a 7" color screen that makes interfacing with the main IQ 2 Plus a breeze. The screen itself is capacitive glass with an 800 x 480 resolution. It features a built-in speaker and a Micro SD card slot. You can pair up to 3 of the IQ remotes to the main IQ 2 Plus panel through the IQ 2 access point or your home WIFI network. By being connected to the IQ 2 Plus access point of WIFI network it can grab over the air updates so it stays up to date as far as firmware and software.

The IQ remote can allow you to utilize the full Z-Wave control of the IQ 2 Plus panel and also has a chime that will follow the chimes of the main panel to let you know when the doors and windows have been opened or closed. It also has emergency panic buttons just like the main panel so that you can summon the Police, Fire Department, or EMS if you have central station monitoring.

The IQ remote also has a built-in camera that will allow you to capture disarm photos and the screen has the ability to use photos you provide for a screensaver feature. It comes with a wall mount and an optional table stand. This keypad has easy to understand icon menus that make this great for everyday use by the whole family.
