The PG9994 is an outdoor-rated motion detector that you can use for your home or business if you'd like to monitor an area on the outside of the building. This detector contains technology that will detect intruders yet not activate on the motion from animals, sunlight, car headlamps, or any myriad of environmental situations that a regular indoor rated motion detector would surely sense. 

The main component that helps the PG9994 differentiate between an actual human intruder and other things that might trigger motion is the Octa-Quad technology. This utilizes the PG9994's 8 PIR sensors that will accurately detect whether an alarm condition needs to be sent. This also contains the temperature compensation feature that will help it differentiate actual human body temperature when the surrounding area is near this temperature range. It also features the visual LED indicator light helping you to get optimum placement without having to verify signal strength at the keypad.
