QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What is the range or spacing requirements for this device

The spacing of smoke detectors is always dictated by the local code on a per county basis. Many counties in the US follow the NEC guidelines, however many have their own and therefore we cannot advise on this.

  • Can I use this as a direct replacement of my 9916 without having to upgrade or change anything?

Yes it is the replacement, however it does have to be programmed in the system and the old one removed in programming. You will need the installer code to do that.
