Annual Uplink Cellular Central Station Monitoring Service
This is a combined service that includes both the Uplink Cellular Communication and Central Station Monitoring services. Subscribers using an Uplink communicator, including, but not limited to, the 5500M and 5530M communicators, may use this service to activate their communicators and set up professional monitoring for their alarm system.
Uplinks cellular service provides:
- Cellular signal forwarding
- Notifications via app push notifications and email (and text via email)
- Keyswitch arming/disarming or CORBUS integration for eligible cellular communicators and systems
The Central Station service provides professional monitoring for your alarm system, including dispatch on alarms as necessary. The Central Station follows standard procedures for each alarm type that is sent by your system:
The central station's current standard response for alarms is:
Burglary: Verification #1, Verification #2, dispatch PD, then notify a contact on the call list.
Fire / Carbon Monoxide / Heat: Dispatch FD, then notify a contact at verification numbers or the call list in that order.
Panic / Holdup: Dispatch PD then notify contact on the call list.
Environmental alarms such as water, temperature or humidity: notify a contact on the call list.
System Troubles: Notify a contact on the call list.
