The ADC-VC7398PA is a sturdy, high-quality, PoE varifocal bullet camera from Alarm.com's new Prism Series. Offering 8MP Ultra HD video resolution and VividNight technology, allowing full color imaging even in extremely low-light environments. Offering support for both VividNight and IR technology, the VC7398PA camera can record in full color down to as low as .02 lux, equivalent to a dimly moonlit night, and if needed, will swap to IR to ensure the camera captures clear, reliable footage. On top of that, the IR range of the VC7398PA and other prism cameras offers over 130ft range, which is more than a 25% distance increase compared to previous cameras. In addition, the VC73984PA offers a much heavier-duty casing compared to many Alarm.com models, providing IP66 ingress protection, an IK10 impact rating, and NEMA 4X for added corrosion resistance. With the VC7398PA's varifocal lens, users will be able to remotely adjust the camera's zoom and field of view, giving them more precise control of the area that the camera will surveil. 

Along with all the new features offered by the ADC-VC7398PA as part of the Prism Series, this camera offers numerous standard Alarm.com features. As a PoE camera, the VC7398PA can reliably be used with Alarm.com SVRs and CSVRs for 24/7 recording and local real-time surveillance. If SVRs are not your speed, the VC7398PA also offers Onboard Recording with Smart View, so you may simply install an SD card for encrypted 24/7 footage recording. The VC7398PA also supports Full Duplex Two-Way Audio with built-in line-level input/output. With its built-in microphone, the camera will record audio during footage, and allows communication from whoever may be on the other end of the camera. However, for audio output, the VC7398PA does require an external speaker to be installed. The external speaker allows more than just simple two-way communication, though. By using Alarm.com's AI Deterrence, the camera can proactively avert threats to your property and livelihood by playing a custom message improvised by the AI based on what the camera is capturing at that moment. And as always, all of Alarm.com's standard Video Analytics recording rules may be applied to Prism Series cameras with Alarm.com's user-friendly app or web portal.
