I learned wireless device's serial number into the Honeywell Lynx L3000 but it’s not performing as expected. Why is that?

When you're sure you've entered the correct wireless device serial number into programming of the Lynx panel and it is not repsonding correctly then it is most likely one of two things.

The first and simplest reason a wireless device isn't responding is because the battery is not inserted or it is incorrectly inserted.

Another reason a wireless device may not respond after entering the serial number is that each device has one or more ways it can operate. These operations are defined by a loop number. If your device requires a certain loop number to perform its operation and you have another loop number assigned instead; the device won't work or won't work properly.
