What does it mean, on a Honeywell Lynx L3000, when the keypad reads Hit * for faults?

When you see the 'Hit * for faults' message on your Lynx Plus' screen; it means that one or more of your zones are open. When you press the '*' key it will show you which zones are in fault or open.

A lot of people ask why they are getting faults on their motions and it is merely because when a motion detector senses motion it opens the zone for as long as it senses the motion event.
