Can you partition the IQ Pro for multiple areas/buildings?

Yes, similar to the DSC NEO and IQ Panels the IQ Pro was designed after, the IQ Pro can be partitioned. A Total of 8 partitions can be set up on the IQ Pro, which should be more than enough for any size install.

When partitioning the IQ Pro, however, it is important to keep in mind how each partition will be armed and disarmed. It is highly recommended you use at least 1 IQ Remote PG keypad on the main partition as it allows you to select other partitions. Simpler keypads such as the wired HS2LCD and the wireless IQKP keypads work well for individual partitions though.
