Honeywell 6160 Custom Alpha Security Keypad

Ademco 6160 Easy to Read Alpha Display Keypad has a 32 character display with easy to read text that is spelled out in plain english. It features four oversized funtions keys which are accessible while the keypad door is closed.

The four function keys on the left side of the keypad can be used for panic keys so that you may press these in case of an emergency such as a break in, fire or medical situation. The function keys are large, easily seen and accessible even when the front cover is closed.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • Is this keypad compatible with a Ademco 6270

    The Ademco 6270 is just a keypad model, so I cannot say for sure based on that alone. However, if your alarm system model is an Ademco (or Honeywell) Vista system model, then the 6160 keypad should work fine for you. 

  • Is this keypad for hardwired security system

    Yes, this is the keypad for Honeywell Vista series hardwired systems. 

  • Can this replace keypad M6987??

    If your system is a Honeywell Vista panel then yes it will work.

  • can i use this to replace my current touch screen (we hate it - doesn't respond well and we prefer real buttons to press). current touch screen is tuxwifiw

    Yes this keypad would be a viable replacement for the TUX keypads, but you will need to address the 6160 when you connect it to the system. The manual explains the process for doing this, however you will need to know an open keypad address on your system.

  • Is this compatable with a FA130CP?

    I'm unfamilar with a FA130CP, however this keypad is only compatible with Honeywell Vista Series alarm panels.

  • Is this keypad compatible with the Ademco alarm system?

    It depends on the model. If it is a Vista Series, yes.

  • I can buy $500 for free shipping but can you get this to me by Thursday?

    Ground shipping is never guaranteed by a certain time. If you require by Thursday, I'd suggest you choose 2nd day or next day air. We ship out daily, but carrier transit times vary greatly by destination.
