Honeywell 6290W 7" Color Touchscreen Keypad with Voice

The 6290W from Honeywell is a new take on their previous touchscreen keypad the 6280W. The 6290W features a 7" touchscreen high-resolution interface with 1024 x 600 resolution. The 6290W is designed to resemble a tablet computer and has a colorful, easy to navigate icon based menu system. The keypad measures 7.94" W x 5.06" H x 0.76" D and is white in color.

The 6290W has a thin design and sits less than 1 inch off of the wall. The backplate of the 6290W was designed to let you easily upgrade from the 6160 and 6280 keypads without having to do a lot of replacing and adjusting of the current installation spot.

Not only does the 6290W have a pleasing tablet-like design, but it also features voice annunciation of system and alarm status. It can speak phrases such as "Ready to arm", "Not ready to arm", which kind of alarm is happening such as "Burglary", "Fire", or "CO" and which zone is affected.

This keypad also can connect to your Wi-Fi enabled router to sync with Honeywell's servers for updates and for Total Connect connectivity. You can also update via an SD Card and the SD slot also allows you to load background and screen saver pictures to display when the keypad is not being used.

You are able to easily view your system's event log so you can view when and who used the system, track employees and temporary guests, know when family members have disarmed the system. You can also view zone status in the easy to access zone list screen. For programming the system; the 6290W features an alpha-numeric keypad emulator that resembles what you'd see on the 6160 keypad screens.
