The PGPHOST9, or PowerG+ Host9, is a wireless receiver module for the DSC and Qolsys system, and the direct replacement for the DSC PowerG Host9 module. The PGPHOST9 gives your DSC NEO, or Qolsys IQ System, the capability to use the newest line of PowerG+ wireless devices. PowerG+ introduces several new features, outlined below, while doubling down on the reliability and range offered by the original PowerG line of products. All PowerG+ devices feature 128-bit AES encryption and have a maximum range of up to 2 Kilometers (1.2 miles) open-air range. Users can add up to 128 wireless PowerG or PowerG+ devices without restriction, allowing the use of existing PowerG wireless devices while transitioning to updated PowerG+ models if so desired or required. Installation and enrollment of the PGPHOST9 remains very simple, only requiring a 4-wire connection from the PGPHOST9 to the main system, and the rest is handled via system programming. 

Along with the new modern look, new security features have been added to the PowerG+ line of devices to ensure your security system stays extremely reliable and secure. All PowerG+ devices, when used with a compatible system, are able to download over-the-air updates to ensure your system stays at the forefront of home security. Newly added Two-factor Authentication helps secure each wireless device to the PowerG+ panel it is being enrolled in. All PowerG plus devices now offer QR codes for easier enrollment when using a system with a camera capable of viewing the QR codes. PowerG+ devices are also able to report battery life, given that the system they are used with is updated to work with PowerG+ devices. And for those installers out there looking to use PowerG+ devices, the PowerG+ line of sensors allows dealer lockout as an optional way to ensure devices are not taken over by other installers.
