Can you use any wireless device with a Lynx Touch?

The only devices that work with the Honeywell Lynx systems are the current 5800 series of wireless transmitters.

Now, there are third-party devices out called translators. Resolution Products makes a line of wireless translators that will allow you to use GE or DSC wireless devices with a Honeywell wireless receiver, but for best performance it’s always recommended to use the devices actually made by the manufacturer of the alarm system. Each manufacturer has their own proprietary wireless frequency that they use.
