How is the Honeywell 4229 different from the Honeywell 4219?

The 4229 Zone Expander with Relays is just that; a zone expander with built-in relays. You will get 8 additional hardwired zones on the 4229 and you will also get two relays that can be used to trigger external devices such as extra sirens, strobes, or external lighting. Anything that you'd like triggered can be triggered by these relays in the event of an alarm.
