Can the 3G8080 / CD8080 be used for self-monitoring or central station monitoring?

While the 8080 communicators must be used with an Alarm.com subscription they can be used for self-monitoring, central station monitoring, or a combination of the two. You can just use one of Alarm.com’s interactive service plans to allow you to receive notifications for various events, along with a number of other smart home security features. Or you can just purchase the wireless signal forwarding with central station monitoring to only have a traditional monitoring experience. The wireless signal forwarding feature is also included with all of the interactive plans so you can purchase central station monitoring in addition to an interactive plan to have features of both.
