What wireless sensors can I use with the IQ Pro?
The primary wireless sensors that work with the IQ Pro are the PowerG sensors shared by DSC and Qolsys. PowerG sensors offer the most reliable long-range connection of all the wireless sensors in production today, along with offering some nice features like encryption, frequency hopping, and battery management. All IQ Pro systems come with a PowerG wireless card by default, so not matter what panel model you have it will be compatible with PowerG sensors.
However, the IQ Pro, similar to the IQ Panel 4, offers secondary wireless cards depending on what model you get. There are 3 alternate models that include a 319MHz wireless card, a 345MHz wireless card and a 433MHz wireless card. These panels allow you to use legacy wireless sensors from older panels. The 319 allows both GE and IQ S-line sensors. The 345MHz card allows the 5800 Honeywell wireless sensors. And the 433MHz card allows legacy DSC wireless sensors.
