DSC LC104-PIMW Dual Technology Motion Detector

The DSC LC104 is a four element motion detector which means that it will detect on the passive infrared, microwave, and doppler ranges. This gives the LC104 the ability to better filter out false alarms. The LC104 has a power input rating of between 9.6 to 16Vdc and will work with any of the 12 volt hardwired alarm systems that we have on site. It has a 25mA active current draw and a standby draw of 20mA.

The LC104 features a Form A, Normally Closed output for wiring to the alarm system and also features a tamper switch that will set off an alarm if the unit itself is tampered with by removing the cover. The LC104 also features 3 indicator LEDs that will light during normal operation to let you know motion is being sensed and on what range it's being sensed in. The red LED will be on during alarm, the green LED will light if motion is sensed on the passive infrared channel, and the yellow LED will light if motion is sensed on the microwave channel. All channels must be tripped at the same time for the motion to set off an alarm making this a great choice for people who don't want to worry about false alarms from a motion detector.

The motion sensor is pet friendly for pets up to 55 lbs and can be mounted in a corner using the beveled back corners or flat on a wall. Both methods of mounting will be achieved by drilling through the back plate. The LC104 weighs in at 3.6 oz and measures 4.65” x 2.46” x 1.61”. This motion features a potentiometer that can be used to adjust the motion detectors sensitivity and range of detection.

This hardwired motion sensor can be used between any manufacturer's hardwired alarm system so you can use this with the DSC PC1616, PC1832, PC1864, DSC NEO models, Honeywell Vista Series, and Interlogix NetworX panels.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Are these two wire or four wire systems

This motion is 4 wire. Two for power and two for the zone. All motion sensors we carry are 4 wire.
