Mier DA-605B Wireless Drive-Alert Vehicle Detection System - with DA-070 portable chime

The Mier DA-605B is, in all essence, Mier's DA-600 that includes an integrated DA-066 Wireless Chime Transmitter. The DA-066 will allow you to use the Mier add-on wireless chime modules. You'll also get, with the 605B model, a Mier DA-070 portable wireless chime. This will allow you to carry around an alert chime if you're on the go in the building where the 605 is installed. The DA-605 is a driveway alert for those who can't or don't want to have to run a wired probe and bury it next to their driveways. This comes with the control panel/receiver and a transmitter/sensor. It also has a built-in alert whistle that comes standard.

The DA-605 is powered by plugging into 110V power outlet. It has an onboard 24V supply for any accessories that require power. The unit also has relay outputs to trigger any accessories that are being used with the DA-605. There is also an LED power indicator so you'll never have to guess if the unit is on or not. The DA-605 control panel also features a low battery indicator so you'll be aware of when the battery in the transmitting unit outside needs changed. With the DA-605 you'll also have a placement radius, from the control panel, of 1000 feet. You can also set a specified channel for the panel and transmitter to "talk" on so that it will have its own unique communication channel.

You will install the control panel/receiver inside the home or business so that you'll be able to be alerted by the alert whistle. You will then place the transmitter/sensor outside alongside the driveway so that it will be able to pick up any metallic object which passes by it.

To set up the wireless chime is easy. After you get the main units placed you'll take the wireless chime and set the channel to 4 on the back of the chime and then place it where it needs to go. The wireless chime features a more pleasant tone than the built-in alert whistle of the DA-605.
