Interlogix 600-1053-LTE-AT Alarm.com Concord Communicator (ATT LTE)

The Interlogix 600-1053-LTE-AT is a cellular communicator that can be used with the Interlogix Concord 4 alarm panels. The communicator uses AT&T's LTE network to relay alarm signals to you, using Alarm.com Residential Interactive Services, or to a central station monitoring service.

The 600-1053-LTE-AT connects to the keybus terminals of the Interlogix Concord 4 panels via a 3 wire connection. These are powered by the control panel by way of the systems's backup battery and this works to power the unit 100 percent of the time. You can also use an auxiliary power supply if the battery powered hookup is not desirable. The communicator uses 12V nominal power and draws 65 mA during use. The unit itself measures 5.25 x 4.125 x 1 in. and mounts outside the panel in an area where you read the best cellular signal strength. It can be mounted up to 90 ft away from the panel so that you can place it in the optimal location. The communicator can be used in environments within the temperature ranges of 32°F to 120°F.

Not only can this be used to send alarm signals but you can also, because of its built-in Z-Wave radio, make a Z-Wave network in your home and integrate them with the functions of the alarm system through Alarm.com's Interactive service with home automation. You can integrate control of such Z-Wave devices such as the Alarm.com Smart Thermostat, the Kwikset 910 Smartcode Deadbolt or the Fortrezz WV-01 Z-Wave Indoor Automated Water Shut-off Valve. They also make lighting devices that operate on the Z-Wave protocol like the LIN-LB60Z1 Z-Wave Dimmable LED Light Bulb or the LIN-PD300Z-2 Z-Wave Plug-in Light Dimmer Module. All of these can be controlled via your Alarm.com user account.

Cellular communicators are becoming the first choice for people these days because of the dwindling use of landlines and also because some people fear that a phone line could be easily disabled on the outside of the home.
