The Honeywell IPCAM-WIC2 Indoor camera is a camera that you can use for surveillance of the inside of your home. These cameras can only be used with Honeywell's Total Connect Video Service so you'll need to add that to your purchase if you're thinking of buying these cameras.

The IPCAM-WIC2 is 2.5" W x 4.4"H x 1.8"D, unobtrusive, and has an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The camera can record/stream at 1080p resolution which will give you a great picture and make making out details easy. The camera has a diagonal field of view of 138° and a horizontal field of view of 110°. The camera also has digital zoom capability and can zoom from 4x up to 6x times normal magnification. The IPCAM-WIC2 uses H.264 and MJPEG compression. It also features motion detection with 4 zones and different levels of sensitivity. It is secure and has 256-bit AES encryption so there's no need to wory about anyone intercepting the signal. The cameras connect with your router via WIFI and is dual band operating on the 2.4 & 2.5 GHz range. The camera has a low-light cut filter so it will switch seamlessly to night vision when it gets dark. The camera's night vision range is 33 ft in total darkness.

Not only will you be able to see your video clips through Total Connect's video cloud storage, but the IPCAM-WIC2 has a SD Card slot built right into the camera that can accept up to a 64 GB SD Card. The camera comes with an 8 GB SD Card. The SD Card is used for backup in case there's internet connectivity loss and will assure that you'll never miss footage because of an outage. The camera also has an LED for network connectivity status and features a reset button in case you have to reset the camera.
