Honeywell CDMA-X (Verizon network) cellular radio for Vista panels

The CDMA-X is a new choice for Honeywell Vista security system owners for communications for the systems. If you need a reliable, strong communicator for your system and you don't' happen to have the best GSM cellular signal then this is the communicator you'd choose. Honeywell is broadening it base by putting out these new communicators. With the choice between the GSMX-4G and the CDMA-X; users have a wider variety of options for their central station communication needs.

Just like its GSM cousin the GSMX-4G; the CDMA-X will wire into the keybus terminals of a Honeywell Vista security system. It's a simple four wire connection to the panel, some programming changes and then signal testing with your central station monitoring service.

If you don't happen to own a Honeywell Vista system then you can still use the CDMA-X for your alarm communications. This communicator will use dialer capture via the DCID-EXT module. Dialer capture is a method of communication where the cellular communicator pulls the signal information from the alarm panel's phone line terminals thereby turning the CDMA-X into a universal use cellular communicator.

With this communicators feature of using Verizon's CDMA frequency and Verizon's roaming services; you'll be assured that the signal will reach central station every time.
