Sometimes people will need another chime to place in areas where they can't hear the main chime or they want to silence the main chime and place another chime elsewhere. This can be achieved with the use of this device. This will plug into any standard wall outlet and a has a volume control adjustment so that you may make the tone as loud or soft as you wish. To use this you will need to add the Mier DA-066MP Chime Transmitter to your to your DA-500 or DA-600 control panel. Only the TD20U is battery powered. With the RC20U; you can have up to 9 of the TD20U units paired with it. This gives you lots of options for coverage around the outside of your home.The RC20U also has a built in Form C relay for activating other devices such as lights, a siren, door locks, cameras, etc. The relay is 50V AC 1A max. or 24V DC 1A max. and has an adjustable output duration.
