$167.95 $224.49

Quick Overview

The HS2LCDRF9ENGN is essentially the HS2LCDENGN that has an HSM2HOST transceiver built into it. This keypad is a wired, full-English, programmable keypad that gives the ability to enroll and program wireless PowerG devices. Using this keypad is a great way to avoid having a separate transceiver on your alarm system.

DSC PowerSeries NEO HS2LCDRF9ENGN Full Message LCD Hardwired Keypad w/ English function keys and Built-in PowerG Transceiver

This latest version with the "N" suffix is now compatible with both the DSC PowerSeries Neo and the PowerSeries Pro alarm panels.
PowerSeries NEO keypads have quite a few features that make them a great add-on to your NEO burglary detection system. Some of these features include five programmable keys for instant one-button activation of important NEO system functions. The keypads also feature a quick exit feature that alleviates the user's need to disarm and then rearm the system whenever they leave the building.

The HS2LCDRF9ENGN full message keypad is the newest in alpha-numeric readout keypads for the DSC NEO burglary systems. These keypads are what we recommend for a primary keypad because of the ability of this keypad to read out alpha and numeric characters on the screen. This keypad's 'ENG' designation will have English words on the function buttons instead of icons. Since the DSC system's programming is in alpha-numeric characters, this keypad will make your programming job ten times easier than using one of the ICN keypads to program with. This LCD keypad features a built-in wireless receiver used to receive transmissions from DSC's new Power G wireless devices. If you can't wire anything else to the system, you can add more devices.

NOTE: You can only have one HS2LCDRF9ENGN or HS2LCDRF9PENGN model keypad per system. If you need a secondary keypad that is just like this one, but without the wireless receiver, choose the HS2LCDENGN or  HS2LCDPENGN.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Do I need to run another wire(s) to the control panel to swap out a PK5501 to a DSC PowerSeries NEO HS2LCDRF9ENGN?

They both take 4 wires, however the HS2LCDRF9ENGN only works with the DSC Neo system and is NOT a replacement for any of the PK series keypads from the older Power Series systems. There is no replacement for those as they have all been discontinued.

  • I have a 16-zone wireless system based on legacy 433Mhz sensors dated as far back as door/Window sensors WLS925L-433NA and using Fobs WS4939 Will these enroll and work properly with this NEO Panel ? (DSC PowerSeries NEO HS2LCDRF9ENGN) Will it work with my outboard 4G LTE / Ethernet / WiFi Communicator ? Is this unit an upgrade/replacement to the DSC SCW9407 ?

Unfortunately not. The DSC NEO, and all of its modules/devices, are a completely upgraded system that uses different internal coding than any legacy DSC components. Hardwired sensors can be reused between the 2 systems, but that is it. If you are looking for a way to reuse your 433MHz wireless sensors though, the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 PowerG + 433 is capable of using those sensors as well as the new DSC PowerG wireless devices.
