Honeywell Lynx Touch L7000 Kit 3
The new Honeywell Lynx L7000 Wireless Touch Screen is Honeywell's latest and greatest wireless alarm system. With it's 7" color screen and it's easy to use icons; this alarm panel is a joy to work with.The L7000 features an 80 zone capacity which means plenty of room for expansion. You will be able to fit up to 80 Honeywell 5800 wireless transmitters on this system. Keep in mind that your keychain remotes will take up 1 zone per button that the remotes have. The panel also has the capability to have up to 48 user codes which means that this system is suitable for a home or can be used in a business setting that has a large number of employees.
The system also features two dedicated physical keys for acessing the homescreen and the emergency buttons. You also get with the L7000 the family message center where you can record messages to be left for different users so that they can retrieve them at a later time. The L7000 can have peripherals added to it that will allow you to transmit signal to a central station for monitoring, using Honeywell's Total Connect, or both. You can accomplish this by using the 3GL cellular communicator or the L5100-WIFI internet communicator. Also available to be added to the L7000 is the L5100-ZWAVE which is a module that will let you control your Z-Wave Home Automation devices and have them sync with different system functions of the alarm. The L7000, in conjunction with the L5100-WIFI card, can also let you view your Honeywell IPCams on the screen of the alarm system as well.
This is truly a power-packed system and is great for any home or business owner who wants all around protection with a future forward design.
This panel does not include a landline dialer like the earlier models such as the L3000, L5100 or the L5200. The only way for the L7000 to dial out for anything is to use a GSM cellular or IP internet communicator.
The Lynx Touch also has 1 hardwired zone available on the main board where you can attach simple 2-wire, normally-closed wired switches into it. This gives you the ability to use a hardwire door or window contact.
The system is a mini-powerhouse and will do a great job protecting your home or business!
