Honeywell Lynx Touch L5210 Kit 2
The new Honeywell Lynx Touch L5210 is an upgrade from the older Lynx L5200. This new security system features an impressive 4.3" color touchscreen. With it's screen resolution of 470 x 256 pixels, 16.7 million color display and intuitive icons; the Lynx Touch L5210 is the easiest, most user friendly system on the market and it delivers unsurpassed protection of your home or small business. It also features larger icons and text making it usable by those with diminished vision.The L5210 is capable of handling up to 64 separate wireless devices which makes covering a home or small business no problem. It has a built-in 85dB siren but also has the option of adding the 5800WAVE wireless siren in case you want to add sounder in another location within the building. The panel also includes a built-in POTS phone dialer that you can use to send signal via a phone line to a central station monitoring service. If a land line is not an option then you can add the 3GL Internal GSM Radio for cellular communication or the WIFI module to send the signal via the internet.
The system can also let you use your L5210 as a Z-Wave home automation controller by adding the Z-Wave control module. The module will let you control the following Z-Wave devices giving you a new level of smart home capability:
- Up to three thermostats (HVAC system or battery powered) with 1°F and 0.5°C set points
- Four door locks
- 40 devices (lights, switches and lamp modules)
- 20 scenes
- 20 rules (event-based actions)
- 20 schedules (time-based actions)
- Sunrise/sunset lighting control
- Randomized lighting control
Lastly, another nice feature about the L5210 is its Family Message center where you can record messages for members of your family when they arrive home.
