15 Watt Indoor Dual Tone Flush Mount Siren SS70H

If you're looking for a reliable indoor siren that can be mounted flush with the wall then the SS70H is your siren. The siren's main body that recesses into the wall measures 5" x 4 1/4" x 1 3/4". The lip and frame of the main body measures 6 1/4" x 5" x 1/4". The housing is made of high-impact ABS plastic. The current draw of this siren is 350 mA and can be used on systems that have a 6-12 V power structure. The siren has an impressive 110 dB of sound when activated. This is dual tone and you will be able to get either a steady or warble tone based on which positive wire you hook up. You will also get four screws and four wall anchors with each siren.

This is a flush mount and what that means is that you can mount this in the wall so that only the front cover is visible to anyone that sees it. You can mount it in a gang box, but it is also made to just mount in a hole that has been cut in the wall for placement. You'll mount this by using self-tapping screws to secure the lip of the siren casing to the wall. The main body of the casing goes into the wall. You then attach the frame to the faceplate to hide the screws.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I bought three of these and don't know which wire is which. Please let me know what each of the three wires are for or if you could provide a wiring diagram. Thanks

White is negative and the Red and Yellow are positives. One provides a steady tone and the other provides a warble tone. You can only use one positive at a time so just choose which sound you prefer.
