If you are looking for an amazing deal to begin building your home or business security system, you have found it with our alarm system kits. The pre-designed alarm system kits give you all the basics that you will need for just about any alarm system installation at an incredible price. Not only will you get all the parts at a great price point, but you will save time by not having to go searching for each part individually. If you only need a couple pieces from a kit, we do offer everything separately as well. Honeywell has two main lines of alarm system panels: Lynx and Vista. The Lynx line features all-in-one wireless systems that are very easy to physically install thanks to the lack of wires that you would otherwise need to run to each component. The Vista line is a very flexible, hybrid alarm panel line. It is hardwired out-of-the-box, but can be expanded to utilize wireless devices as well. It has a multitude of expansion modules that allow you to customize your Vista panel to fit almost any need.

We have three panels within the Lynx line for you to choose from. The Lynx Plus, or L3000, is the entry level Lynx panel. It uses Honeywell’s standard interface with a traditional keypad and alphanumeric LCD display. The programming for the L3000 is similar to that of the Vista series, but it is a little bit easier and simplified overall. Like all panels in the Lynx series, the L3000 has 2-way voice capability to aid central stations in ascertaining the situation when they receive an alarm signal. The L3000 can hold up to 40 wireless zones, making it great for small to medium sized applications. And, using a ‘follow me’ number, the L3000 can be programmed to call you over a landline telephone connection. You can program up to 6 additional user codes beyond the installer and master codes. We have 5 different options for buying a L3000 so that you can find the one that works the best for you.

The next Lynx panel is the L5210. This panel has a small 4.3” LCD touchscreen keypad on the front. This gives you an easy to navigate, menu driven user interface. The L5210 has a very simple programming interface that will allow for a much more enjoyable experience when it comes time to setup your system. Just like the L3000, the L5210 can use its telephone dialer to call your phone with the ‘follow me’ feature. It can handle up to 64 programmable wireless zones and 16 key fob zones; making it suitable for even larger homes and small to medium size businesses. The L5210 can be programmed with up to 32 user codes (Installer, Master, plus 30 secondary, including Duress and Guest codes. This will give you much more flexibility if you have somewhere, such as a small business, that you want to give quite a few people access to. The L5210 is a little more modular as well. You can add modules such as a Z-Wave controller to give you some smart home features. It can even view Honeywell Total Connect IP cameras on its screen. We carry 4 kits for the L5210.

Finally, there is the L7000. This is the top tier Lynx panel. It has many of the same features and interfaces as the L5210. However, it does have a much larger 7” LCD touchscreen. It can handle 80 zones and up to 46 additional user codes. It can use the same modules as the L5210 as well. Unfortunately, the L7000 does not have the ‘follow me’ feature or any landline (POTS) interface. Communication must be via IP or cellular based and they can only send signal to a central station monitoring sevice.

We also have 3 of Honeywell’s Vista panels: Vista 15P, Vista 20P, and Vista 21IP. All of the Vista alarm systems come hardwired out of the box and will require at least 1 hardwired keypad. They are very modular, allowing you to add various expansion modules to give you the features that you want for you alarm system. The Vista 15P is the smallest of the 3 panels. It has 6 zones built onto the panel out of the box. The 15P can be expanded up to 32 zones total. It can have a total of up 22 hardwired zones and up to 26 wireless zones. The number of hardwired and wireless zones together cannot exceed 32 zones. It also has the capacity for 32 user codes. The Vista 20P is the next model up in the Vista series. It has 8 built-in hardwired zones. It can be expanded up to 48 total zones. These can be all hardwired or all wireless or any combination of the two that does not exceed the 48 zone limit. The Vista 20P also has a 48 user code capacity. You can also split the panel into 2 partitions as well as having common zones that will only activate when both partitions are armed. Last, there is the Vista 21IP. The 21IP is almost identical to the 20P. It has the same number zones, user codes, and partitions. And it can use the same modules. The difference is that the 21IP has a built-in IP communicator that you can use as your communication device to a central station. Because of this, it has a specific GSM communicator for use with only the 21IP if you want to add dual path communication.
