16 Camera 4K Security Network Video Recorder With 16 POE and 4TB / 8TB HDD

The NR16 has the following features:

  • 16ch network recorder with H.265 Compression for Best-in-Class Recording and Storage Performance
  • Embedded PoE Switch for all Video Channels Up to 240W
  • Supports recording of up to 12MP (4000 x 3000) Resolution Images
  • Display Images up to 4k (3840 x 2160) Resolution on HDMI Output
  • Supports 2 SATA HDD’s up to 10TB each for 20TB total
  • ONVIF Profile Series Compliant

This 16 camera NVR will handle 16 IP cameras and can record in 4K resolution. This has a long-range PoE capability of up to 825 ft so that you can have long runs of either CAT5E or CAT6 ethernet cable. The NR16 provides up to 240W of power for cameras using the built-in PoE.

With this NVR, you'll get the ability to record footage in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and will initially get 4 or 8 TB HDD storage, depending on what model you choose. The NR16 can handle the installation of up to 2 - 10 TB SATA HDD for a combined total of 20 TB. You can use either HDMI or VGA displays and also view concurrently if using both.

The NR16 can also utilize audio because of its audio input/output ports so that you can capture sound at the camera. If you need to use cameras with Pan/Tilt/Zoom features, the NR16 can accommodate. This NVR also has security inputs/outputs, so you can, for instance, have the cameras trigger to record when there is an alarm instance. Another feature is video analytics, which will allow you to set up virtual trip lines, detect scene changes, and count people in the scene. Video analytics does require compatible Uniview brand cameras.

Because of the NVRs plug-and-play functionality, camera installation is easy, as the NVR will automatically detect Uniview brand cameras on the network when they are plugged in. Other Onvif compliant IP cameras may be used however they may not auto enroll like Uniview branded cameras do.

This NVR is supported by Uniview Tec's Guard Station Client Software and Guard Viewer Mobile app, so you can remotely view your cameras from anywhere. The app is available on the iPhone App Store or Google Play.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Can I view the recordings of the security cameras attached to this DVR online? May be on my phone? I am looking for a system that helps me check on the security cameras live and recordings online while I am not home.

Yes, this system can do that. You will need a basic understanding of networking though to implement it as it isn't "plug n play" like the options available with our alarm.com cameras.
