Uplink 2550 Full data cellular communicator

The Uplink 2550 cell communicator module is a alarm communicator that sends alarm data to a central monitoring station over the cellular network. This unit, unlike the Uplink 2530, can be used as the primary or secondary means of communication. The 2550 also uses dialer capture just like the 2530. This means that when you wire this into your panel it will connect via the phone line terminals on the alarm system. The reason why it can be used as a secondary even though it uses dialer capture is because of the addition of a phone jack on the 2550 so that you may plug a phone line into it. It reports in full Contact ID. This unit can be universally used by any alarm panel to report to a central station

NOTE: Requires it's own power supply but you may be able to acquire power from the alarm systems backup battery

GSM cell service fee of $12.50 a month is required to use this unit, payable annually.
