The Uplink 2500 cell communicator module is a alarm communicator that sends alarm data to a central monitoring station over the cellular network. The 2500 hooks into your siren terminals and what signal is sent, either burglary or fire, will depend on what pulse your siren is sending. The sirens pulse two different ways depending on if a burglary condition or a fire condition exists. This is a universal cell backup that may be used with any brand alarm system. May be used as a backup to a regular phone line or as a primary.

NOTE: Requires it's own power supply but you may be able to acquire power from the alarm systems backup battery

GSM cell service fee of $12.50 a month is required to use this unit, payable annually.
