Honeywell Wireless Security Systems

Honeywell offers three different wireless security system models from their popular Lynx Series. Lynx Plus (L3000), Lynx Touch L5000 and Lynx Touch L5100. All are very similar in capability with the main difference being the Lynx Plus has a LCD display and both Lynx Touch models have a nice icon driven touchscreen. It is the opinion of most that the touchscreen on these make them easier to program and setup.

The differences between the Lynx Touch L5000 and L5100 are fairly minor. Essentially, just expanded Zwave support and a new WiFi card for central station IP reporting is the key new features on the L5100 over the L5000.
