Just when we had gotten used to Honeywell's 6280 Touchscreen Keypad; Honeywell released their newest version, the 6280i Tuxedo Touchscreen Keypad.

A lot of you have been waiting for this keypad to come out. This new touchscreen keypad will give all of you that have been wanting the convenience of home automation along with the power of your Honeywell alarm panel exactly what you've been looking for!

The TUXEDO has a brilliant 16 million color graphic interface that features the same icon set that you get with Honeywell's Total Connect Monitoring service. It's easy to use and very user friendly. It actually features an installation and setup video which makes it even more user friendly.

Among its many features; it will allow the user to use Z-Wave wireless devices. This means that your alarm system will now be able to control lights, locks, and a number of other Z-Wave home automation products. You can also, with your new TUXEDO view up to 4 IP cameras at a time from the keypad with a capacity of 16. It also allows the user to upload photos and video to the keypad via an SD card to add a little fun to your alarm experience.
