Honeywell 5877 Wireless Garage Door Relay/ LED Status Light
If you've been looking for a status light that is for your Honeywell system, whether it be a Lynx or Vista series, then we now have that option for you. The Honeywell 5877 is a status light that you can place inside your garage so that you can tell whether or not that key press on your wireless remote actually armed the system. It features three different LED colors for alarm status:
LED STATUS INDICATION
Flashing RED Armed AWAY
Solid RED Armed STAY
Solid GREEN System READY
LED OFF System NOT READY
Flashing ORANGE Alarm while Armed
The 5877 comes with its own 12 V power transformer. The power transformer is included because there is no wiring back to the main control panel.
Not only can the 5877 read out the system status of your Honeywell panel, but it can also act as a relay for opening your garage door using any 5800 series key chain remote. The remotes actually get learned into this unit as well as being learned into the main wireless receiver. You can enroll up to 7 buttons per 5877, one function button per key chain remote.
