ELK-M1PCSPIM UPB Interface For M1G & M1EZ8 Controls

The M1PCSPIM has a built-in M1XSP Serial Port chip and is a power interface module that can be connected into any M1 series panel permanently connecting it to a UPB network. UPB is like X-10 but more powerful and reliable. You can read up on UPB HERE. Plug this into any AC power outlet and connect from the M1 data bus into the 4 terminals on the PCSPIM, enroll it, and you're off and running.

This allows your M1 panel to send signals through the electrical wiring.

Specifications:

• Power:
   -UPB Network circuitry – powered from the AC “Primary” Line.
   -M1 Data Bus Device circuitry – powered (12VDC) from the M1 Data Bus (+) & (-) terminals.
  NOTE: Loss of AC primary power should not result in a missing data bus device trouble.
• Current Draw from M1: ~30mA @ 12 VDC
• M1 Bus Device Address: Preset at Address #7 [Requires bus module enrollment]
• Firmware required: 1.0.42 (std. firmware) or later
