This is DSC's latest PIR with selectable pet immunity. This model is replacing the soon to be discontinued BV300 model. This new model is a much smaller and more attractive design than the previous BV-300 series.  This motion is selectable as pet immune for pets up to 55 pounds.

Though this motion would be fine for small dogs or cats, we generally recommend a dual tech pet motion for pet applications, particularly our Optex MX40PI or the Honeywell DT-500 model as these feature the best in pet descrimination and handle larger pets as well.
