This color 1/3" Sony CCD dome camera with IR is a perfect fit for any home or business. Designed for use indoors, but could be used in covered areas such as under porches or eaves, but is not waterproof. Due to it's small size and off white color, it blends well into most any decor and can be mounted on the ceiling or on walls easily. This surveillance dome camera also features built in IR illuminators just like our outdoor weatherproof cameras allowing you to see in total darkness for both day and night applications..

In our experience with various manufacturers, we've found the the maximum usable camera IR range to be about half of the rated distances quoted.
